This was a foundational move to create a semantic "memory layer" for all of Cortado’s innovation tools.- Core Development: The Library subsystem is evolving into a persistent embedding index, designed to serve as the foundational cache for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) operations. This week's work focused on index lifecycle management, ensuring that once data is pre-indexed (e.g., meeting transcripts, persona notes, training modules), it can be recalled in a varierty of contextual combinations without being re-processed, speeding up responsiveness considerably.
- Functional Goal: The objective is to make every normalized record (meeting, persona, product spec, account, sentiment, topic) part of a queryable, RAG-ready corpus. This is how we will embed our Go-To-Market framework, along with your personas, buyer's journey, and brand voice into our content generators and advisor outputs. Agents retrieve semantically linked content across different dimensions: for example, connecting a persona insight to a meeting summary or linking customer issues across multiple meetings.
- Architectural Direction: We are moving from ad-hoc vector retrieval to pre-indexed hybrid search (combining metadata filters + vector similarity). This logic is being integrated to create a single retrieval abstraction for all of our underlying AI agents.
🎓 Training & System Enablement
To support these platform advancements, we parallel-tracked the development of our internal learning modules, treating training itself as a data-driven product.
